Regular readers (both of you, perhaps?) come by for my stunning wit, engaging commentary, and incredibly behind-the-curve observations. Surely not because I keep spamming you with content from this site. But believe it or not, there are others who wander by at the behest of Internet search engines like Google, Yahoo, and the one at MSN. What do these intrepid travelers seek? So far today, this blog has attracted people seeking:
So, in the interest of generating more visitors truly interested in my unique perspective and observations, let me just say, with heartfelt sincerity: "Hot live nude tuna chomsky girls, who win nobel prizes, often purchase young high calibre ammunition guns for their linguist husbands who do housework!" And I truly, truly mean this. Taking a line from the Anna's belligerant bunny blog, are we? When a blog is updated, its owner can arrange to notify several blog digests about the new content. In my case, I "ping" (the word is slightly misused, but that's the term) http://blog.gs/ and http://weblogs.com/ when a new entry is posted. From there, a whole flock of automated blogosphere denizens, smelling new content, come crawling by to sniff at the new post. This include critters such as "obidos (just looking for books)" and various search and digestion engines. Google has wandered by twice already, including early this morning. Just FYI. I am curious, I plug these search strings into the search engines you mention, and I don't see your page in the first 200+ results. I don't get how they are getting to your site with these searches. As regular reader #1 (or #2), I will not stand for such cheap search engine tricks! This of course leads me to refer you to yet another classic blog: Disturbing Search Requests [http://searchrequests.weblogs.com/] You think you've got it bad?
I am curious, what search engines have managed to find you already and how?

They came for the nude girls, but stayed for the blog.
