As usual, I can't seem to confine my interest to any coherant boundaries. Today, I'm learning a little bit about Benjamin Disraeli, 1801-1884, British Prime Minister. Some good quotes:
- I must follow the people. Am I not their leader?
- Liberals - Cosmopolitan critics, men who are the friends of every nation except their own.
- It is much easier to be critical than correct.
- If you are not clever you should be concilliatory.
- Talk to a man about himself and he will listen for hours.
- There are three kinds of lies: Lies, damned lies, and statistics.
