Okay, so what's up with the BBC and the scuds? On the first day we saw missles being fired towards Kuwait which observers identified as Scuds (at least one, by all accounts). Yet the BBC reports that none of those were Scuds: Pentagon says Iraq has not fired any Scud missiles so far -- and the US has found no caches of weapons of mass destruction. Perhaps the BBC is confused. The Pentagon has said they have not yet found any Scuds on the ground in Iraq, not that none have been fired. Unless I'm missing something it appears the BBC has made a serious error here. Perhaps they're being overly zealous to report that Iraq has no WMD? Add your two cents...
