I'm watching Hannity & Colmes: Some talking heads are discussing the "peace shields" who changed their stance on the war, and whether or not the Iraqis want to see their government replaced. Do they? I hope they do. I think, in their situation, I would feel the same way. My support of my government would be severely tested if it disppeared members of my family, or friends' families. I would not have felt the current actions were acceptable if I didn't feel we'd be "Doing unto others as we'd have done to us." But look at the peace protestors. Here are people who clearly hate their government -- at least their president. And, let's be honest, whatever else may have happened, or been gained or lost, we're still living in a pretty great place. We're not even repressed, and they want a regime change, here. If they feel this way, how could they imagine the Iraqis feel otherwise? Add your two cents...
