Deb, the Insomnomaniac and her husband had a horrible run-in yesterday with a gang of about 30 violent 13- and 14-year olds in her formerly-safe Boston neighborhood. And other neighbors have also been beaten and live in fear, afraid to do anything about it.
Read it, weep, and think hard about how people like you and I can make a difference in cases like this.
I'm sorry, but where are their parents? Seriously, children learn what they see. You hit your wife, your child hits a woman. It goes as far as what they see on tv and see or hear at school. Parents, talk to your kids before their 14 years old and in jail. Children should have respect for anyone older than them. This is pathetic.
