ABC News: The worldview of the dominant media can be seen in every frame of video and every print word choice that is currently being produced about the presidential race... It's probably paranoid and unrealistic to assert that every frame of video we see is politically biased. But, from what I'm seeing, it's probably a good idea to consider that possibility constantly: even cartoons have political agendas these days... The Guardian has a puff piece on Matt Groening. It's basicly just an ad selling a release of his old "Life in Hell" comic strip for the first time in Britain. But I noticed an interesting admission at the end of it:
Translation: Our cartoon character depictions reflect our politics. We would certainly have drawn Blair worse if we had realized he didn't align more closely to our views. You know, looking for leftist bias in the media is about as difficult as looking for trees in a forest. Add your two cents...
