John Kerry has been attacking George Bush over increased medicare premiums:
John F. Kerry promoted his economic message in this strapped battleground state for the second day in a row, blasting the Bush administration on job losses and the news that Medicare premiums for doctor visits will go up 17 percent next year.
But why are costs up? Because doctors are getting more expensive:
"The big component is Medicare is increasing payments for physicians, rather than reducing them," he said, noting that Congress last year canceled a 4.5 percent cut in physician rates and replaced it with a 1.5 percent raise.

And why are doctors' costs up? Because we all pay for lawsuits from trail lawyers, trail lawyers like John Edwards:
A primary component of these rising costs is medical malpractice insurance. Excessive lawsuits and massive awards drive up the costs of insurance, which doctors must pass on in increased fees. However, most lawsuits are simply wasteful and benefit trial lawyers more than patients.

And yet the Kerry campaign is funded by these exact same trial lawyers; they even want to put one into the White House!
Kerry: He's part of the problem, not the solution.
