"I play with them and then I smash them." "I will not enage them." "To get that close to that kind of amorality is poisonous." So says Mike Malloy on Air America about his ideological opposites. He actually brags about not engaging his opponents in a meaningful discussion because it would "poison" him to do so. Then he brags about "smashing" them. Apparently "smashing" doesn't include refuting or even responding to arguments. No, no power or ego trip here! This is the voice of the left? See the violence inherant in the system! I'm seeing more of this these days. Liberals are increasingly being taught not to "engage" with conservatives because conservatives are "immoral." This is a good strategy from keeping the sheep from having to think about ideas or evidence which might undermine liberal dogmas or marching orders. The right course of action isn't to present evidence and check facts to determine who's got their policy right, and who will be harming people. No, the right thing is to make sure you stop up your ears and don't hear any uncomfortable facts. Pray, friends. Pray. Add your two cents...
