Growing up in suburban Milwaukee, in my idyllic safe little neighborhood, there was a little store we could walk to. It was called "The Party Store" and sold whatever would move: Liquor and beer, ice cream, snacks, candy bars, probably had a gallon or two of milk and some crackers. Last-minute stuff you didn't want to go all the way to the grocery store for. I generally didn't go there, and didn't really buy much of anything, but some of my friends did. So I remember at one point some of the other kids had something they called "Wacky Packs", which were little stickers with parodies of common commercial products. This one, for example, stuck in my mind for years because, well, it's kind of gross and yet kind of funny at the same time -- "Hostile Thinkies": ![]() This one triggered a memory too -- Dad always had some three-in-one oil around: ![]() Well, apparently, they're back in circulation, and they produced one more series last year: ![]() They're grosser than they used to be, but still generally cute and funny. fuunny Posted by: on November 8, 2006 09:35 AM Add your two cents...
