... and other equally unusual developments. Glenn writes:
Glenn can't imagine why the media isn't covering this one. Certainly has all the details which make for a fascinating story, no? Vote fraud, murder, sex... what could be the missing ingredient? Hmmmmm... Let's all think hard... As I see it, contemporary journalists seem to think society is already biased in some way -- against minorities, women, homosexuals, Democrats, etc. I gather that they imagine they are then restoring "balance" by leaning the other way. So somehow, I think a story about a black Democratic party leader who works as a pimp (from his town hall office), pays people to vote Democratic, and attempts to kill witness to vote fraud, isn't exactly going to be providing the kind of "balance" most journalists are looking for. Now, if the guy were a Republican...
I'm not surprised. I was looking at a letter from Lake County, Ohio which supposed proved Republicans were trying to tell Democrats to vote on the wrong day. At that bottom, it said: "If you have any questions, contact the Sherrif's department about this letter!" Right. As if people who were trying to "suppress the vote", were going to write letters begging the reader to contact -- not the election board -- but the legal authorities and report the very letter in hand. Add your two cents...
