China's "Mobile Execution Chambers"

These save, I imagine, the nuisance involved in restraining and transporting the prisoner, alive, to a place where they might need a trial or any other of those inconveniences-for-the-state:

[Italy] it seems, has been happily co-operating with the Chinese authorities in developing their notorious mobile execution chambers. Readers will recall that eighteen mobile executions vans, converted 24-seater buses, have been distributed to all intermediate courts and one high court in Yunnan province.

The windowless execution chamber at the back contains a metal bed on which the prisoner is strapped down. Once the needle is attached by the doctor, an act which breaches international medical ethics, a police officer presses a button and an automatic syringe inserts the lethal drug into the prisoner's vein. The execution can be watched on a video monitor next to the driver's seat and can be recorded if required.

Just the thing needed to control those pesky Christians, Falun Gong practitioners, and supporters of democracy. How very modern and efficient: enemies of state promply executed on site, even in the middle of the night. I wonder if they also generate the bill for the family on the spot, too.

So will this help China reduce the number of executions from 10,000 each year? And this from the same EU which refuses to extradite criminals to the US, for fear the death penalty might be applied. Hypocrisy, "Europe" is thy name.

Yes, let's do hear again those European lectures on the USA's barbarity.

Meanwhile: Germany arms China, EU helps China procure nukes, Torture is widespread in China, France prevents anti-China protests, France fights to lift China human-rights embargo in exchange for Airbus contracts, Italy criticizes US execution, EU slams US for executions
