Yes. Very sad. One would think that they would be more careful about whom they put on their board. And why are they so comfortable with selecting so many people from the same organization (Quixtar/Amway/Alticor or whatever they want to identify themselves as) to serve on their board? And such a controversial organizaton at that?

I found out this information last year after reading the book Merchants of Deception (www.merchantsofdeception.com). I was very disappointed indeed because at that time I used the biblegateway website very frequently.

It seems to me that a lot of Christian leaders seem a little to eager to grasp onto anyone that claims s/he is a Christian and holds to their political beliefs (anti-abortion, belief that homosexuality is immoral - both of which are viewpoints I hold to). If only they would examine their other values.
