Well, it's that time again! Have your say, rant, inquire, bemoan, or otherwise comment about anything that strikes your fancy. Best to you all, and glad to have you here. Perry! From the few times I've been able to hear him, Ravi is quite good. No, I hadn't heard of that recently, but I'll try to download a few next week and listen to them. Thanks so much for the suggestion! Posted by: Tim (Random Observations) on October 13, 2007 12:51 PM Ravi Zacharias is my favourite Christian non-fiction author; I think that you should give him a try. :-) Tim, may I ask: do you have an opinion about home-schooling? Background: I am home-schooled (in the UK, where it is not at all popular), but not for any political or religious reasons, and I was wondering what you thought about its popularity in America. Especially considering that Ron Paul is its most ardent supporter amongst all the election candidates. Oh, and don't forget Conservapedia, mainly organised by home-schoolers. I read that for fun occasionally. :-) Also, I am quite cross with Ron Paul for having some great policies and then going and ruining it all with conspiracy theories. Ah, well... it might just be best to support the Allosaurus... -TCG Posted by: The Complete Geek on October 14, 2007 10:14 AM Add your two cents...

Are you familiar with sermon jams, Tim? They're essentially sermon highlights set to lovely melodies and are quite beautiful.
Here's a site with a nice collection.

Some especially good ones are by John Piper and Ravi Zacharias.
