The president's critics (and "progressives" in general) are fond of depicting Europe as more enlightened, and frequently insist we should take more advice and direction from Europe. For some odd reason, I don't think we'll see the same argument applied here. Do you? Add your two cents...

I've always wondered if the ideal Europe they've talked about is one in a parallel dimension, myself...
I'm thinking that here they'll just brush over it, as usual.
