On this Memorial Day, James Earl Carter repeats the same advice which worked out so well for North Korea:
And perhaps we should also give them everything they need for that non-military long-range ballistic jelly-donut delivery system they seem interested in? Given his former success in anticipating what Iran would do in the 1970s -- the warm thanks Ahmadinejad's allies would give Jimmy Carter and US for helping depose the Shah -- it's understandable that Carter again wishes to share his sage wisdom regarding the Mullahs' endless desire to receive a warm, welcoming, embracing hug from the US. (And a turned head as they attempt acquire the technology necessary to quick-fry two million or so Jews.) Are we out of people who need houses built? Carter should go back to swinging a hammer; that way he can only hurt himself. Posted by: Linda Weatherby on May 26, 2008 11:55 PM Amen Michael. What's the point in not letting us recycle spent fuel if we're just going to hand the stuff out like candy to terrorist states? Posted by: Ryan W. on May 27, 2008 07:55 AM Add your two cents...

The same person who kept us from recycling spent fuel.
The... same... person...
Oh, it's too dangerous for us to reprocess fuel, but HEY let's give it to a dictator who believes that Israel is some kind of cancerous sore that should be removed, the hidden Imam, and all kinds of apocalyptic insanity.
It's like he personally adopted the philosophy of the Nobel peace prize in being the unashamed moral anti-compass of the world.
