Friends,

I'm informed that we might be having some outages over the next several days, so I apologize for any inconvenience. On the other hand, blogging has been light for a number of reasons:

1. My day job keeps me rather busy.

2. I have a future vision for this space, but it's been hard to achieve because the software to support it doesn't currently exist. (Not for the cost I'm willing to pay, anyway.)

3. Politically, we're in between administrations. I don't reflexively criticize "the other side" and am hoping the next administration will be a good one, though I admit I also have many concerns. Instead, I'm taking a "wait and see" approach, so there's not much to say politically.
